This little digi-paint sketch was created on Sunday, November 05, 2006, 10:19:47 PM [got that from the properties. woot!]. I did most of it then, but modified it sometime in April of '07, and I finally finished the sketch on Thursday, May 28, 2009[!] around one p.m. Talk about a work in progress. it's just a sketch! AND IT TOOK THAT LONG?!? YEESH >__>
Anyway I started this trying to emulate Arnold Tsang because I've always LOVED his work and I am a major fan of the MAD/TSANG team-up. My only grief was that while the final piece was breath-taking, he'd sometimes rid the work of some of those tiny little details that made it a "Mad!" piece. SO, I started this sketch, then my computer died, and the amazing Chris Lichtner went and gave it the treatment I would have wanted to give it, but infinitely better than me. But I love when you come up with an idea and someone does just about the same thing. It's proof that you're onto something good ^__^
